A character that learns from you
Conversador
The bot records all the conversations and uses the users answers to write. When you answer a question it memorize the relation between both phrases, so if someone do the same question, it will write a related answer.
You can use different characters and each one keeps independent conversations, so each character has its own “personality”.
It is i18n customizable and all the visual customizations could be done at conversador.css (for instance each character avatar).

If you speak spanish, you can chat with a character called Kalko, with the Argentinian politician Aníbal Fernández or with Diego Armando Maradona:

Hi Federico, just letting you know that I implemented your plugin for a community experiment. Such a great idea to have a learning bot!

Just one question, will the tables in the database need to be “trimmed” over time, so it doesn’t bloat too much, or the amount of recorded text will be handled easily?

I am glad to know you implemented Conversador plugin and you created Budda character. I have already get a session with him. Regarding the database size, it is not a problem. For instance, with 500 conversations stored the database would be about 1.5MB.
It is very funny to see the conversations the characters had. I give you a hint: you can add a parameter id to the page that shows previous conversations. For instance, “…unaConversacion.php?nombre=Buddha&id=5″.

Hi Federico - Sorry for the delay, and thank you for the hint! I just went to check previous conversations to see how the bot is learning and things are going great! I have another question, but maybe I should start asking at the WP site, in case it can help other users of your wonderful plugin. Or do you prefer to do it here?
1.5MB for 500 conversations seems good.
